Here is a Latrobe Beer Sign from the Latrobe Brewing Company located in Latrobe, PA. This Latrobe Sign is from the 1930s era and is in good condition considering how old it is.
This is is approximately 13″ by 9″ and is made of embossed metal. Unfortunately, the cardboard backer is missing along with any manufacturing company makers marks. There is another variation of this sign that looks very similar except it’s red rather than green. Signs like this one would have been displayed inside a tavern or beer distributor to advertise beer to local patrons.
I am actively looking for a cleaner example of this sign and / or the red variation to add to my collection as well as any other Latrobe or Rolling Rock Beer signs too. If you have one, please contact me when you’re ready to sell.
