Here is an Old Reading Beer TOC Sign from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Old Reading Beer TOC Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
This sign was made by the Permanent Sign and Display Company located in Reading, PA; it is approximately 10.5″ by 12″ and is made of embossed tin wrapped on a cardboard backer. The graphics on this Permanent Sign and Display Company sign is of a pair of the Old Reading Brewery’s mascot “Old Gus” toasting each other in-front of a keg of Old Reading Beer.
There is another variation of this sign with very similar graphics except that variation reads “Ale” at the bottom instead of “Beer” like this one. I am actively looking for the Old Reading Ale Sign variation to add to my collection; please contact me if you have one and are interested in selling it.
