Here is a Reading Beer Distributor Sign from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA.  This sign is a chalkboard that would have been displayed in a beer distributor or bar take out area to show the availability and prices prices of beer in different sizes and cases. The top 3 lines are painted with the Old Reading Brewing Company’s flagship beers which include Reading Premium, Pale Reserve, and Berkshire Ale. It even still has “Bergheim” which was also a beer made by the Old Reading Brewing Company written in chalk in one of the spaces below; Carling is written is chalk in one of the spaces as well.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t remember the last time a case of beer was $5.50…

The sign is made of heavy masonite with a chalkboard print over top. The “Reading” logo graphic is the short and stout version which was used early on during the rebrand brewery name and marketing effort from the Old Reading Brewing Company to the Reading Brewing Company.

It is in very nice condition for it’s age. The only down side to this piece is it’s size; it tends to take up a lot of wall space.
