Here is a Rieker’s Beer Crate from the Penn Star Brewing Company (formerly Penn State Brewery) located in Lancaster, PA. This Rieker’s Beer Crate is from between 1933 and 1938 era and is in excellent condition for as old as it is.
It is approximately 18″ by 12″ by 10″ and made of wood with stenciled graphics on all the sides. The graphics and typography reads “Established 1875”, “Rieker’s Beer”, and “Penn Star Brewery Co.”. Rieker Beer was one of the Lancaster brewery’s flagship beers produced during the 1930’s.
