Here is an early Rooms for Tourist Sign most likely produced for a hotel.  This Rooms for Tourist Sign dates from the early 1900s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is. Signs like this one are known as scalloped glass sign; this sign is approximately 20″ by 9″ and is made of reverse-painted, scalloped (chipped) edged glass mounted on a metal backer. A sign like this would have probably been displayed inside of an early hotel or motor lodge.
