This sign is approximately 16″ X 20″ and was made by the Tuchfarber Company located in Cincinnati, OH. This Tuchfarber sign is made of embossed tin with gold lettering on a black background. The graphics on this sign are of the Schlitz globe and name with the lettering that reads “The Beer That Made Milwaukee Famous”. Signs like this one would have been displayed outside of a tavern or hotel, often times on a porch post to advertise Schlitz Beer to Patrons passing by.
