Here is a Senate Beer and Ale Sign from the Heurich Brewing Company located in Washington, D.C. This sign dates from the 1930s era and is in excellent new-old stock condition considering how old it is.
The sign is approximately 17″ by 9″ and is made of tin with a sting hanger; it was made by the Electro-Chemical Engraving Company Inc. located in New York, NY. The graphics on the sign depict the brewery’s flagship products of their beer and ale displayed in long neck bottles and flat top cans, while the advertising text in the center reads “Drink Senate Beer and Ale”.
