Here is a Yuengling Premium Beer TOC Sign from the D. G. Yuengling Brewery located in Pottsville, PA. This Yuengling Premium Beer Sign is from the 1950’s era and in in very good condition for it’s age. This sign was made by the Permanent Sign & Display Company located in Reading, PA. The sign itself is approximately 8″ X 12″ and is made of tin wrapped over a cardboard backer also known as TOC (Tin-Over-Cardboard). It also has a string hanger n the back to hang on a wall as well as a metal easel to display on a bar back or table.
The graphics on this Yuengling Beer Tin Sign were very prominent in the advertising campaign that the brewery was using during the 1950’s into the 1960’s era. They also used similar graphics incorporating the black label Yuengling Premium Beer bottle and pilsner glass on other advertising items like beer trays, menu covers, match packs, and calendars.
