Here is a Yuengling Tin Sign from the D. G. Yuengling & Sons Brewery located in Pottsville, PA; which is also the oldest brewery in America.  This Yuengling Tin Sign is made of embossed metal and is in excellent condition for it’s age.  Judging from the label on the bottle this sign is probably from the 1950’s to 1960’s era. The Yuengling Brewery used this logo and label for a short time during that time frame before switching to a modern looking logo which is still used to this day.  This same Yuengling label was used on late cone top beer cans during the 1950’s as well. There is a sign manufacturer stamp in the lower left corner of the sign; this sign was manufactured by the Novelty Workers Union located in Coshocton, OH.

I just love the tagline on this Yuengling Tin Sign that reads “Yuengling The Premium Beer Since 1829”.  I’ve been looking for this Yuengling Tin Sign for a while now and never had the chance at buying one.  I’m so glad I finally found one to add to my collection.  I also have a similar Yuengling sign that advertises Yuengling’s Porter Beer; click here to view that sign.
