Here is a Yuenglings Brilliant Ale Sign from the D. G. Yuengling & Son Brewery located in Pottsville, PA. This pre-prohibition era Yuenglings Brilliant Ale Sign is from the early 1900’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
This Yuenglings Ale Sign was made by the Meek Company located in Coshocton, OH. The sign is approximately 13″ wide and is made of tin-over-cardboard. The graphics on this Yuengling Sign if of the brewery’s eagle holding a keg of Yuengling Beer in its talons. Also the lettering on the sign reads “Yuengling’s Celebrated Brilliant Ale”. Signs like this one would have been displayed on the wall of taverns and distributors to advertising Yuengling’s Ale to patrons.
