Here is an Old Reading Beer Crowntainer from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Old Reading Beer Cone Top Can is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. Old Reading Crowntainer Cans are extremely hard to find these days especially one in this grade of condition. I would grade this can at a 1/1+ grade in condition.
The lineage of this Old Reading Crowntainer is it was purchased in 2009 out of the legendary Bob McCoy collection. This is the actual can that was photographed and featured as USBC 197-23. Please refer to all photos shown.
