Trommers Malt Brew Porcelain Sign

Here is a Esslingers Premium Beer Sign from the Esslinger Brewery Inc. located in Philadelphia, PA.  This Esslingers Premium Beer Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. The graphics on this Esslinger Beer Sign is of the Esslinger’s logo and the brewery’s mascot “King Pin (aka Little Man)”.  The typography on the sign reads “Philadelphia’s Only Premium Beer” which was a tagline that the brewery used in it’s marketing plan predominantly in the early 1940’s era. This Esslinger’s Beer Sign is approximately 4″ X 6″ and is made of foil over composite material and would have had a string hanger and metal easel on the back for display.

Here is a Duquesne Beer Sign from the Duquesne Brewing Company located in Pittsburgh, PA.  This Duquesne Beer Sign is from the 1930s era and is in very good condition considering how old it is. This sign is approximately 13″ by 6″ and is made of embossed metal wrapped on a cardboard backer.  This sign was made by the Donaldson Art Sign Company located in Covington, KY; it also still bares the “Display Purpose” sticker on the back too.
