Here is a Doctors Special Scotch Whisky Sign from an importer of Robert Macnish Company located in Glasgow, Scotland. This Doctors Special Scotch Whisky Sign is from the early 1900’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age.
It is approximately 14″ wide and is made of porcelain enamel over metal. This porcelain sign was made by the Baltimore Enamel & Novelty Company in their NYC location at 190 West Broadway Street, New York, NY. The back of the porcelain sign has a makers mark that reads: “Balto Enl & Nov. Co. 190 W. Broadway NYC”. This sign along with 2 others were found 12 years ago in a condemned building located at 5 Franklin Place, New York, NY.
