Here is a Duquesne Pilsener Lighted Sign from the Duquesne Brewing Company located in Pittsburgh, PA. This Duquesne Pilsener Lighted Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age.
This sign was made by the Trenbath Corporation located in New York, NY and is known as a Trenlite Point of Sale Advertising Sign. It is approximately 25″ wide and is made of a plastic face with embossed lettering mounted in a metal body. There are a few color variations including yellow, white, green, red, and pink but the colors come from the florescent bulb inside of the sign. Signs like this one would have been displayed behind the bar or in tavern windows to advertise Duquesne Pilsener Beer to patrons.
