This Esslingers Beer Composite Sign approximately 4″ X 5″ and is made of a composite material which was a very popular sign material during the metal shortages of World War II. The graphics on this Esslinger Beer Sign is of two “King Pin” men (who was the mascot of the Esslinger Brewery) carrying a keg of Esslinger’s Beer. Signs like these would have been displayed as bar back displays to advertise Esslinger Beer to patrons in taverns and beer distributors.
