Here is a Miller High Life Lighted Sign from the Miller Brewing Company located in Milwaukee, WI.  This Miller High Life Lighted Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition for its age.

This Miller High Life Sign was made by the Allison Sign Company Inc. located in Milwaukee, WI.  It is approximately 26″ by 9″ by 5″ and is made of reverse-painted embossed plastic mounted in a neon back-lit metal body with chrome trim around the edge. The graphics on this sign display the classic Miller High Life logo with the word Miller embossed on the thick plastic as well as the “The Girl on the Moon” graphic that is always associated with the Miller Brewery.

The lighted on the inside of the sign is a zig-zag pattern of white neon tubes that is powered by a heavy transformer ballast that is mounted to the back of the sign.  Signs like this one would have been displayed as far back displays behind the bar of a tavern or distributor or displayed in the windows to advertise Miller Beer to patrons.  This sign is very eye-catching when lit and even displays well when it’s not lit up.
