Here is a Rolling Rock Beer Neon Sign from the Latrobe Brewing Company located in Latrobe, PA.  This Rolling Rock Beer Neon Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.

This Rolling Rock Neon Sign was made by the Lackner Sign Company located in Cincinnati, OH.  This Lackner Sign Company sign is made of etched reverse-painted glass mounted on an Art Deco style metal body with a neon accent around the outside of the glass.  The color of the neon tube is known as uranium glass, which glows a bright green when lit and is clear when off.

The graphics on this sign is of the branded pony horse head icon logo which Rolling Rock was most famous for as well as the tagline “A Little Nip In The Pony Bottles” which was used a lot in the Latrobe Brewing Company marketing from 1933 up until the mid to late 1940’s era.  Signs like this one would have been used as bar back displays to advertise Rolling Rock to patrons.
