Here is a Valley Forge Beer Scoreboard from the Adam Scheidt Brewing Company located in Norristown, PA. This Valley Forge Beer Scoreboard dates from the 1940s and is in very good condition considering how old it is.
The sign measures 28″ by 11″ and is made of tin wrapped over a cardboard backer. The top half of the sign displays various advertising from the Adam Scheidt Brewery promoting their flagship products including Valley Forge Beer and Rams Head Ale while the bottom half is reserved for keeping score against the Philadelphia Phillies and the apposing team. This particular piece is what we would refer to as a “cross-over collectible” which refers to it being not only breweriana advertising but also sports baseball memorabilia.
